Saka gold on display in Cambridge

Gold belonging to ancient warriors buried 2,700 years ago is being displayed in the UK for the first time. The Saka culture of central Asia flourished from about the 8th century BC to the 3rd century BC. Treasures from Saka burial mounds will be on display at the Fitzwilliam Museum in Cambridge.
The exhibition features finds from three burial complexes in eastern Kazakhstan - Berel, Shilikti and Eleke Sazy.
